Simon Bingham
Chairman
Simon has lived in the village since 2002, and joined the Parish Council around 2005. Simon has been a Director of his family business based in Banbury since 1975 and likes to get involved with running events and organisations and helping out whenever possible in order to make many things happen for the benefit of the villagers and friends. Richard Hooper
Vice Chairman
Richard has lived in Greatworth since 1979, initially buying a new build in the last development phase of Peveril Road. Later he moved to a bungalow on Helmdon Road. His professional background is in the chemical industry and he built up a specialist manufacturing company in Daventry. He took early retirement in 2009 and first joined the parish council in 2012. Richard has been involved in the fight against HS2 and strives to obtain maximum mitigation of the detrimental effects on Greatworth during construction and operation of HS2. Lilian Stageman
Councillor
Lilian has been a Councillor since 1999. She was born in the village as were generations of her family before her. You can contact Lilian via

Robert Dick
Councillor

Bob Haynes
Councillor
Bob moved into the village in 2007 and joined the Parish Council in 2016. He has a sporting background of semi-pro football with Banbury United , Premier South Northants cricket and now golf. He is an active member of the Greatworth Golf Society committee and supports many other village activities. Bob started his career as a mechanical engineer, then built up a retail, design and installation fitted kitchens business with a showroom in Banbury, retiring in 2016 after 30 successful years of trading. Bob offers a practical approach to helping the village and will fight the effects of HS2 or any other outside influence that may reduce our quality of life. Hazel Hewison
Councillor
Hazel Hewison moved to Halse from Thorpe Mandeville in 2012. Hazel plays the organ for Sunday services in several local churches, including Halse. You can contact Hazel via

Helen du Bois
Clerk
Helen is the Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer for the council. An experienced Clerk, Helen started working for the council in August 2016 and is employed to work 8 hours a week.
